James McClean

For Us All

Recommended Posts

McLean needs to grow up, move on and respect the country that feeds him or bugger off and play for Limerick or similar.

I think of you as one of the more sensible posters on here but this is just bizarre. I don't stand for or join in with the national anthem; should I bugger off too? I think McClean handled the whole situation very maturely. Why the **** are West Brom playing the national anthem is some stupid friendly anyway.

'Media sensationalism'?If you are still unsure, best have a word with TP,McClean's manager is certain what went on.

So I was right, thanks for showing the evidence. He didnt turn his back to the flag, he didnt do anything. He just didnt turn to face the flag. No fair enough people may have an opinion on that, but saying he turned his back to the flag is untrue.

What do we do with Brits who live on her soil with her people but have no respect for them? Do we deport them to ..err..somewhere

He works here, pays tax here, as far as I am aware he respects the law of the land..that's about the only obligations anyone has whether British, Irish, Martian or whatever.

Sad day when we start telling people how they must behave other than living within the law.

West Brom weren't playing the national anthem, the game was played against Charleston Battery in South Carolina.McClean was probably sucking up to all the American Irish over the pond.

Im with you, they dont add anything to our country, unfortunately its not for us to decide. But do you turn your back on our flag when the national anthem is played?

*sigh* If you bothered to actually read about the incident or watch the footage, you would see that he did no such thing. Don't let that get in the way of you slating the guy though.

But he does live on her soil with her people. If he has no respect for them he shouldn't be here.

Of course, our beloved Queen and Prince Philip, who some would say are not entirely of totally /british descent, show respect to the animals they hunt for their so-called 'sport', and in Phyllis's case they people he insults on an almost daily basis who pay for his parasitic upkeep.

And don't brand me as a republican, I can tolerate the royal family at a push, but only if Philip learns to behave himself before he snuffs it, and the Queen ha nothing more to do with hunting and preferably denounces it.

As for the footballer, what a lot of fuss about nothing.

And if posters cant show respect for British freedom of speech and tolerance of attitude, should they be here ?

They do love their 'Old Glory' flag over the pond, there seems to be one flying from every building.

It's called brainwashing.

Yes, and there are 88 guns per 100 people.

Number killed in terrorist attacks since 9/11 in US - less tnan 100.

Number killed in gun murders since 9/11 in US - over 100,000

1,000 times the chance of being gunned down than killed by a terrorist.
