Great deal for him, he's done very well for himself in terms of money and length of deal it seems.

It's an odd signing if they saw Pope play in the second half of last season, when he was panting and puffing around the pitch.

 

Time will tell if that was because he was less than 100% fit, a waning ability or because of his fondness for a jar and a fag.

 

If it's any of the the latter, i think we might have the last laugh on Bury with this one.

First of all I would like to thank Tom for some great memories and wish him all the best except in two games next year. This big club thing is a load of crap nowadays look at Bournemouth next year prem club and gates of 10,000 so anything is possible if Bury want to have ago at getting there I don't see a problem with it.
