Tues 17th Mar 2015, Port Vale v Crawley, pre-match, the match itself.

Not our day against Swindle, seemed to be using Crawley tactics too. Crawley's win there last month must have been a game to avoid. So we know what to expect, let us hope we can come up with something unexpected to them. Need a win behind us going to Sheffield on Saturday, Up the Vale.

They've improved massively of late.

I think they've won their last two away games - one at Swindon.

We need to be at our best to win this one.

I think I'd put Dodds back in the team and the striker who loses his place (and Campion) on the bench to come on later.

MASSIVE game season over or game on again depending on outcome win this one and sheff utd on Saturday is huge

Sort of, and sort of not.

There's a whole Division Three programme of fixtures tomorrow so we could be better off, the same, or worse off.

The fact we've not been in the top six all season says to me we're not getting there come the season's end. We're not good enough, and it's frustrating when you see the dross that may be in there ahead of us.

I think we should achieve safety first then start experimenting with some different players and formations.

Veseli

Mcgivern

Robertson

Dickinson

Brown

O'connor

Marshall

Dodds

Moore

Williamson

We played well when Williamson was the only striker with dodds just behind. Id also look to bring campion or nimely back on the bench, maybe even both in place of Duffy and/or birchall. Would be nice to see the younger players brought into the frame in the closing games.

Ive lost patience with Williamson - that 50/50 in the first half with the keeper that he bottled did it for me.

I just hope Crawley turn up trying to play football and we have a decent ref.

I can't cope with another game of diving/play acting/feigning injury/time-wasting and a ref that doesn't realise any of it is going on like the last two game v Oldham and Swindon.

Agreed,I thought the standard of refereeing was poor last season but it seems to have reached an all time low this time.

BW's worst mistake was not to square the ball in the second half when he got to the byline and the keeper came out to meet him.

He should have rolled it across the empty goal for Daniel (was it?) to tap in.

You are right about referees. They do generally seem worse. As do those on the touchline, who seem unable to see a foul, don't know when the ball has crossed the white line or not, and seem oblivious to the offside rule at times! They say it evens itself out so let's see.
