Great offer but sooo disappointed I hear this on ovf. ....what exactly do the marketing team do at vale??? Let's be honest the casual supporter this offer is aimed at is hardly likely to be in the club shop on a Monday night!!

Cracking offer but you are right this needs to be across all media channels including the crap newspaper, Radio Stoke, Signal, OVF, the other substandard Vale forum and in general throughout North staffs.

Need better offers than that im afraid to keep the walk up fans coming. Lets face it, we wont go down and we certainly wont go up, so basically theirs nothing to play for. Be lucky get 3k against Crawley, especially with Champs League been on too..

Disagree, that's over 30% discount. A great start to incentivize people to come both home games. I'm sure it won't be a big enough discount for some who don't seem to realize the football club needs to actual make money to survive.

Good post. Norm has to start somewhere to try and attract more paying customers but whatever he tries he will get criticism from certain quarters. However, like others, I feel this offer has not been pushed like it ought to have been. Own goal in that respect. Vale still are in a huge learning curve but applaud them for at least now giving some effort.

The criticism of the lack of publicity is a bit unfair. There's still two weeks until the Oldham game. Now if in seven days there's no publicity, that's a different matter.

I don't suppose it may be all over the scoreboard on Saturday or in Saturday's programme.Get yourselves up there so you can see the ads.

You need to be careful promoting a cut price event before a full price match on Saturday. People could easily pick to go 2 for £30 instead of the full price on Saturday. Marketing this from Saturday is the right thing to do.

It's a very good offer imo, you effectively get one game for £8, let's hope fans take it up.
