No Back Streete Boy?

If he goes to Blackpool it would be interesting to know why.

Does he, himself want to go there in preference to the Vale?

Would Newcastle want him go play there?

Do the Vale not want him?

Would it be finances regarding paying his salary?

He certainly was and would still be an asset and an improvement to the Vale defence if he would return.

As **** as they are, blackpool and sheff weds play in the championship - we don't. I think that's probably all there is to it, Newcastle will want him tested at the highest level possible.

we'll sign another striker to replace him this week anyways, we'll only be playing with one at the back the way we're going :D

Although still young and raw, I thought he was a very classy player that had no business being in League One. Don't get me wrong, I'd love him back but I can see why he and/or the Toon want him in a higher division.

That's a shame; looked a quality player even in his short time here, but we haven't exactly missed him. Newcastle want him to play at the highest level possible, getting a young lad experience of fighting relegation in the championship (if he plays week in week out) is good for castle. Good luck remie if you go there!

We can't complain if he does go elsewhere. If he actually does come our way then great. I see also Grimmer has been recalled by Fulham after playing really well apparently for Shrews. Looks like we are a "nursery" club in many ways now, trying to bring on potentially future stars whilst they have a short period here. That in itself is good as we have the benefit for a while of some excellent young players. Wish them all well for their careers. Thanks for whatever they do for us.

We have always been that in my opinion, onestepatatime. The problem is, in the last 6/7 years, we haven't had anyone young who is good enough to sell!

Exactly - Blackpool ARE shute, but the teams they play against are better, so Remie will be tested more. Good luck to him, and would love to see him join sometime in the future as another development player!
