Dicko played well against Peterboro last year when he played just in front of the back four.

Unfortunately we don't have a back four at the moment - so I think he will play centre half tomorrow.

McGivern has played better at left-back than he did at centre-back. That's his position from now on I would think.

 

As for Robertson being our best centre-back last season? That just shows how awful at the back we were/are if that's the case.

We also conceded 73 goals which was the most of any team outside the bottom 8.

Worried about the back 4 personally. I think we lack pace & lack defenders attacking the ball. Having said that, Robertson & Veseli have been patient & deserve a chance to prove themselves.

 

 

Probably more to worry about further forward with the suggested team, I always try to defend players but Williamson didn't have a great game against MK and that is being polite, and if him and Dodds went missing in the same eleven, we'd have little chance. Risk one of them to start but not both.

I think the midfield was as much to blame for MKs 4 goals as the defence, so perhaps Brown should come in, and Marshall seems to get going more after half time, so we should make sure he doesn't get stranded out wide with not enough service.

Hate to say it, but that 11 clean sheets is 10 more than we have this time. We are on course to concede rather more than 73 in total, and if you add in cup games it could reach treble figures. Interesting though that we have scored 13 cup goals with only one round won, I doubt if any team has ever scored so many with just one win.

I like Daniel too but see him as more of an impact sub at the minute. If BW was that bad vs MK, then id put Daniel in for him up top. Definitely see Daniel as a forward rather than winger.

Interesting that the 54 team scored 13 goals in thier SF run, including games against the 53 cup holders and also the 54 winners, goals conceded 4 in a total of 8 games.

Showing them too much respect, very negative performance, only nguessen is past the half way line. These have some decent players number 16 has a great cross on him but thankfully they have Calvin Andrew up top who missed a sitter. We need to wake up.
