If Griff wasn't getting a game at Shrewsbury, I reckon he'd be first on Micky's hit list, exactly what they need.

People call Tommy Fraser but he was exactly the right player at the time he was brought in. I reckon he changed the dressing room and put a bit of spirit in there. Probably couldn't do that now as his career has gone on a hell of a slide but sod the quality, get a few grafters with a sense of humour in there.

Actually, thinking about it. Adams might make a cheeky bid for Brown offering his longer / more extensive managerial experience as a better apprenticeship into management for Brown. In addition, I think Brown is already the best of the Owd 'Uns he brought here in terms of influencing games as a player, great engine for his age and exactly the sort of spirit you need in a battle. Hope we keep him, mind!

I think Veseli will come good. His positional sense is excellent, in previous games he just seemed to be lacking confidence on the ball, which will come.

 

I think Slew's days are numbered though, don't think we'll be extending that loan. Shame really as he did ok, just blew it by his performance at Fleetwood.

 

Judging from this new recruitment policy we better get used to young players finding their feet. Supporters criticised Adams for not developing young talent but I can't see where the patience is going to come from in the stands.

People criticised Adams because we had good youth players and they were cast away. IMO its the right way to go, not 100% youth as with Crewe but integrating 3 or 4 into the first 11 and by the end of the season i think we will obtain that.

Brown and Page are mates so I'd be surprised if he goes. If Page gets job until end of season I think Brown will become player coach.
