mmmm I don't feel he was professional with his views on air last time and after how he has been on here over the summer I doubt that has changed but we will see or those who have to listen to it will

 

Depends what and how it's said on air. My only access to the majority of Vale games is RS via Valiant Payer and I can't remember anything untoward being said other than preferences or opinions. Given today's social media there's many ways of recourse for hidden agendas.

Cannot understand the constant bashing of Radio Stoke, they give coverage and publicity to our club. I have always found Williams match comments to be very truthful.

 

Yep, when we had to listen to the feed from the Bristol City commentary team last year when RS coverage was down it showed just how good the RS guys are, the Brizzle commentary was very amateur.

Listened to radio stoke this afternoon, ray williams seemed complimentary to the vale , said made some good signings, it was said that until cullo is better ray williams will be doing home matches and phil sproston will be doing away matches. Excellent programme from radio stoke today ah hour each on vale stoke and crewe, some good debate, I really think we are blessed with the coverage our local teams get, knock me if you want to folks but thats what I think

I like both Ray Williams and Mick Cullerton, they add to the commentary and have different strengths. Ray's entitled to his opinion on MA and/or Smurf just like the rest of us and no doubt will be professional with his views while on air. He'll be the first person to admit he's wrong when we finish in the play-offs this year.

Good shout, hopefully all water under the bridge now that apologies have been made. Hopefully the football and league position will be that good it will only be possible to be positive.

Spot on always talked sense and would say the truth even if it harmed the cosy relationship between club and the radio station. Talked so much sense that I wished he still had some involvement with the club. Did seem to be struggling with his health towards the end of last season.
