He played well..indeed well played Shrewsbury

Brilliant performance and result at Bournemouth; the place is really buzzing with what's being achieved there at the moment, Was at a seminar at the stadium a few months back and they have really got their act together off the pitch as well

Quite surprised how well Liam Lawrence played for the Shrews, especially in the first half.

No excuses whatsoever today. We were woeful and that's the worst performance I've seen from a Liverpool side under Rodgers. Newcastle have had a good few results lately but they're still pretty bad. There's a clear lack of confidence, cohesion and none of the belief that was running throughout the side last season. I think both the players and Rodgers are mentally exhausted after going so close last season and only throwing it away in the last week, and of course not having Suarez and Sturridge up top, the best partnership in the league last season, would make a huge difference to any team.

With Real Madrid and Chelsea up next it's going to be a very testing time for Brendan. We'll beat Read in there own backyard though. Anyone fancy a £300 bet?

When will you start realising that last season was a one off. Suarez carried your team last season, weather you like it or not. You were always going to struggle when he left. Even if you have sick note Sturridge back in your side, I honestly don't think you'd be much better. Today was just utter rubbish Beech, and if you finish to 6 come May, you've done well..

Nonsense. Suarez missed quite a few games last season, games that Liverpool still won. With Sturridge in the side we'll be a far better outfit again, though I'm not naïve enough to think that suddenly we'll be performing how we did last season again. Liverpool lost Suarez but still have a good side and a lot of very good players, but unfortunately other than Moreno none of the new signings have exactly hit the ground running and there is much more to comes from the likes of Lovren, Markovic, Lallana and hopefully even Balotelli when Daniel is back.

I don't take note on anything you say about Daniel Sturridge after you trying to insist that Olivier Giroud was a better option than him.:D

Who??;) Alexis Sanchez Is already looking to be one hell of a player for Arsenal. Now Theo is back, Alexis, Giroud/Welbeck, Theo top 3 is mouth watering..

He's a great talent, I said when you signed him that I was pleased to see him playing his football over here. But no matter how good you can be going forward you still have the same old weak links in the team, and is why Arsenal won't be winning the Premiership or the Champions League anytime soon. Wenger hasn't fixed this problem for years now so I just don't see him doing so.

The main problem for me seems to be your central midfield area. Flamini isn't the player he once was, and is now very average. Likewise Arteta, who was never that good in the first place. Wilshere is Wilshere, for one good game he has 3 or 4 poor one's and Ramsey is really struggling to find his form of last season. Cazorla is a poor man's Silva.

Wonder how long Rodgers has?

Apparently he's been told there will be no more money to spend in January after totally spunking away 100 million in the summer. The comparisons between what he has done and what AVB did at Spurs are uncanny.

As much time as he needs. He's an outstanding young manager who was so close to achieving miracles last season for the club. Let's not forget that Suarez was very inconsistent when he came to Liverpool and for all of his ability he would miss sitter after sitter. A great deal is owed to Rodgers for helping Luis to find consistency and become one of the top 3 or 4 players in world football, and also for the way in which the likes of Henderson and Sterling have improved during his time at the club.
