Hazard? GTFO. He's one of the most over-rated players in football right now. Bags of ability, but he's way behind Di Maria in terms of goals and assists this season and hasn't done it season after season like Di Maria.

Lovren and Balotelli deserved to be dropped after their performances this season. Henderson has a knock and Gerrard can't be expected to play game after game at his age. So really the only person Rodgers had dropped is Sterling. :rolleyes:

For me it's a bold but good selection. A lot of these players like Borini for one example have a point to prove and will be right up for it, no matter the lack of confidence from recent results. I don't expect a result but do expect the players to give a credible account of themselves.
