Wembley visit /semi-final cup runs stretch the budget. We also cannot expect as many as a Saturday. Blades Mad gives a good history of our meetings, including the League record away win, and our cup win against the League Champions at Cobridge.

...Can't see many more than 500 odd travelling blunts on Friday... why give up a good night's drinking in an excellent drinking town like Sheffield for a match with nothing on it? Unless they are coming to see our new kit!!!

...indeed a good reason...but they don't need to attend the match to do that...more drinking time if they don't !!!!

Though I can recommend many of those bars/pubs you refer to... at least 4 of them relieve me of some money every Friday night, Saturday matchdays and a fair proportion of Saturday evenings!!! No doubt our paths will cross again as we enjoy our respective (mini) pub crawls.
