As soon as norman took over in sole ownership he needed to do two things get rid of the obvious dead wood inside the club and hire a CEO he has done neither, and all that has followed has been a disaster waiting to happen in my opinion to try and do what he is doing at this level of football without help and expertise is well quite barmy!!

If you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always got. The biggest culprit in this is Lodey who probably still uses a quill and ink.It is time that Norman got rid of all the backward thinking staff and hire real forward thinking staff. He will have to pay the going rate, but he will reap the rewards.

Bang on the button that is Ray.

Not up on these things but does Smurf own the ground? if so could we get in a situation like Coventry where he can sell the club but then get the owners to pay him to rent the ground?

What we need is more fans to attend the matches instead of moaning and spreading rumours on here. The last two seasons with smurf have been the best entertainment home and away that we have had for many a year now get behind the man and show him what the vale means to us all because if you don't it may just be the end of the vale.We do not want any ex director to come back they made a pigs ear of it last time so get out of your armchairs and do what our fantastic away support does and get behind the club we all love before you lose it forever.

When the Council bailed us out, wasn't there some protective covenant put on the ground? I can't remember exactly. Either way, I would imagine the company that own the club, also own it's assets.
