Cheeky, the voice of reason. Complain about performances, complain about the way the club is run.

 

Why don't you buy Vale? So what Smurf has overspent, he's done a great job for this club. He said he won't invest £1 million next year so we may have to cut out cloth.

 

The bloke has done more for this club than any armchair critic on here and I fully support him.

Everyone supports Smurf its just that some see the problems that are manifesting themslves in the club and dont have their heads in the sand.

 

Do you deny that Smurf has got the club up for sale ?

He's got the club promoted and has supported Adams in putting together the best squad we've had for over 10 years, since Brammer, Bridge-Wilkinson etc under Horton. He's come out and admitted that he's overspent and had to invest his own money but he's sworn to safeguard us and leave us in a healthier position when and if he does go. I for one see no reason to dis-believe him. Still, some are never satisfied. Probably the ones complaining won't be going on Boxing Day because it's a "difficult time of year".

I haven't complained about a performance for months, unless you can show otherwise. I've been in Australia for a month so not been able to comment on performances for a start.

 

I also haven't complained at how the club is run. I've raised concerns that within a year of being debt free, we are now seemingly in debt, which is worrying to me. Are you not worried that bills can't be paid?

 

Of course, you aren't debating the issue, you are debating the poster (me). You would swear black was white if it went against what I thought, so it's pointless debating an issue with someone with such a juvenile attitude.

I'm very grateful for all he has done. But by his own admission, the club is losing money. I just want him to swallow his pride, accept some assistance and get the club back on an even keel. It is worrying that from being debt free only 12 months ago, we are now cash strapped. Does that not worry you? Or would you rather simply ignore it until it's too late?

 

If true it would worry me but I cannot do anymore than I have over the years that iv been going the vale, like all the other shareholders who lost their money except for one certain person I cannot give what I have not got.We were only debt free because he put the money in and now it seems people are lining up to kick him where it hurts.
