Victoria Ground without a doubt.

No other ground comes close for atmosphere and tension when we had a derby match there.

 

Same here. Remember going there once for a pre-season friendly when they were in the old division 1 and beating them 3-2. Must have been 1969/70 or thereabouts but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone else remember it?

We beat them 3-2 in 1990 when 10,731 turned out for George Berry's testimonial at the Victoria Ground.

Personally, Everton away will never be beaten. I was only 15 at the time but that bogie equaliser may be surpassed.

The comeback at Huddersfield in the FA cup comes close.

In more very recent times, Fleetwood away was probably the best away day/days ive had as an adult.

Rotherham away on boxing day was brilliant.

Not sure if Old Wembley and Millennium are allowed, but they're right up there for Vale games. As grounds, Griffin Park with a pub in each corner, Bristol Rovers for sheer higglty Piggeltyness and great half time music.
The Vale have played there with some successes and some disappointments, so should be in the list of favourite grounds.
