Goals on the scoreboard

Only noticed yesterday they showed the Crawley goals on the scoreboard before kick off another nice touch by the club:)

yep , well done to mark turner who runs the scoreboard , he spends a lot of time programming it .

Was good even though it only appeared to be running at about 4 frames per second!

This facility has been available since the Scoreboard was first erected. It just needed someone who is competent. Welcome on board Mark.

The scoreboard is pretty **** though. Its forever playing up.

Not blaming the person who runs it.

It just seems very temperamental .

was a very nice touch yes, however the board itself is ***** now when you look at teams like Fleetwood who have spent a bit on it we should take a leaf out of their book for when the time comes to replace it. Great work getting it to show goals though. lovely touch

I take it they didn't show the goals against then.

On the positive side at least when you record them they don't take up too much room on your hard disc recorder!

They could show paint drying on your scoreboard during the match for anyone who would like to watch something a little more entertaining than the bilge on the pitch.

Highlights are wasted on that scoreboard because it's not high spec enough and looks to have pixel issues because of the speed.

 

I would imagine decent ones cost a lot of money we probably can't waste.

I wish we could 2 big screens in the ground! One in the corner between Hamil/Lorne St (where it used to be) and one in the Family Stand. Close this ahit heap in the corner and put a screen there. I'd be mint. But we have other, more important things to spend our wedge on first.

 

Have we not got a Rugby League team near by?? We would have to have one then :D

Sometimes that can just be a software issue though.

 

The clock freezing can be a bit frustrating. It would be nice if that could get solved.
