Two cracking home games coming up and I would be more than happy to take 4 points from those two games,4 wins out of our last 5 games now.

1,196 Vale fans at Prenton Park today. Decent turnout.

 

Back-to-back wins. Can't ask for any more than that. Well done lads. Sets us up very nicely for the two important home games against Bristol City and Peterborough.

 

We are racking up the points on the board very nicely now. 9 points from our last 4 games and we're now looking upwards as opposed to looking nervously beneath us. By the sounds of things Lines is starting to show the quality and class which saw him playing games for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship last season.

A lot on Twitter about being a lot of trouble after the game

 

I remember going to tranmere as a kid a few times and always seeing trouble. I remember one match when fans were jumping into the stands to have a go and then legging it back. Was over 20 years ago though.

Just seen Lines' free kick on sky and it's a cracker. Also the penalty save is quality.

Popes penalty was a touch unlucky but a decent height for the keeper. Our recent record from pens isn't great. Surely Lines must be capable from 12 yards?

Went to the Game today. Vale played really well and with a bit of luck could have had it finished by half time. Their Goalkeeper made a terrific penalty save. Terrific free kick won it but 1-0 flattered Tranmere who are one of our bogey teams.

 

We made hard work of it towards the end when we became too narrow defending the goal which encouraged them to sling in crosses.

 

Again a fantastic away following. I think its a big help as it was like being at home. Up the Vale!

Apparently Smurfy gave Page a big hug after he finished his interview with the radio,how sweet.

 

I must say though Page comes over very well on the radio.

Who are you referring to re the Sheff job? Micky or Page? They've both applied for it whilst being in employment at vale.

Total commitment to every ball, and today we were treated to some dribbling and even passes.
