Noticed Newcastle got a free kick tonight in a similar position - the mega bucks prima donna couldn't get it over the wall never mind dip down enough to go in.

The 2 yellows become a red and don't count as 2 yellows so he'd still be on 4 bookings after he'd served his ban for the red.

Although Marc Richards used to get banned so he could have a Christmas holiday (allegedly), I think it is a dangerous game to play to try getting yellow cards deliberately to pick which matches you miss.

He was and it was a foul stopping a goal scoring opportunity, could it be deemed unintentional?

Thanks, wasn't sure if the first booking would automatically trigger a one match ban and the second booking make it a two match ban. Just trying to over complicate it, it seems.

It shouldn't even have been a penalty! They were a better team with 10men; i rate we would have won about 2 or 3 if it had stayed 11v11... we had the beating of them everywhere!
