Bury have a new chairman - a 31 year old "property developer" named Stewart Day.

 

According to this report, he said "We've put a worldwide scouting system in place, and we've got 25 players that have come from all over the world coming into training - we've even got a lad coming in from Brazil."

 

The club have confirmed the appointment of Glenn Thomas as the club’s new chief executive officer, along with the names of two further directors on the board.

 

A statement revealed that Thomas’s role will be to develop the club’s brand while working closely with the Bury Community Trust and youth department.

 

It is not yet clear how his job, or any of the other appointments announced today, will affect the position of the club’s current general manager, Jill Neville.

 

The other two directors appointed to the board are Ian Kendall, as chief operational officer, and corporate lawyer Gisella Alberici.

 

Can't see where Perry Deakin would fit in there. There is no evidence to support this rumour.

According to Gary Benson, he tweeted a message addressed to me, their fans have been digging, Deakin has been made Commercial Director and he's at Bury today. Not sure why Gary didn't say that here rather than on Twitter, but I do not doubt his word and that this is reliable information.

IF this story is true then at least Lemon top is earning money which he can use to pay for the shares that he claimed that he had paid for,but hadn't.

I sincerely hope that this scrote has no involvement with Bury. He should never be allowed to have any influence in a football club ever again. I pray that he will be held to account for what he did to us.
