Now the dust has finally settled on the Championship season we may see some useful players looking for new clubs, and just maybe there's a brand new L1 club who would be a good fit for them. (And I'm not talking Gills, Rovrum or any of those who went down.)

Adams has said he's looking at a number of players at the moment. Plus once the deadline as passed with regards existing players re-signing, & Adams knows for sure who's staying & who's moving on, then i think we'll start to see some movement. Players contracts run until the end of June anyway, so i reckon a lot of them won't be in to much of a hurry just yet? They'll wait to see what offers come in over the next couple of weeks or so before they decide i'd of thought? Still early yet.

Imo,i certainly dont think it is financial,i am sure all the players will be in place for pre-season training.

Good players don't sign early, and seeing some of the dross that we've signed in previous seasons, I'm quite happy to wait.

Yes. Yes & Yes. Everyone knows players demands reduce as the new season beckons. This is when the VFM signings will be made. Look at Brizzle City by way of example: just bid £350k & offered £3k/wk to Aden Flint. I'm sure had they waited they could have saved some money on that deal. UTV.

Lee Croft has turned down a contract at Oldham and Joss Labadie is stalling on a contract at Notts County. Two players that would be in our price range and would improve the squad imo.
