Really please for Micky. At times this season I havnt been his biggest fan, and I can say i was completely wrong, hes done brilliantly to get a team that wasnt being paid and in administration promoted. Superb achievement and made me emotional seeing him choked up on Midlands, fantastic job many more years at vale please. Has to get manager of the season but I worry it will go to Allen.

Micky can be an awkward so and so when being interviewed. He is certainly a very stubborn Yorkshireman. However, he has been that glue-holding the squad together. As has already been said, we probably dont know half of what he has had to put up with, particularly at the start of the season. Thanks Micky for giving us a team to be so proud of. Yesterday was a rollercoaster of emotions, but in the end it was one of my best days ever of following this great club.

I too have voiced my opinion regarding MA, but I've just watched him on Midlands news and he made me cry. I quite like the emotional, humble Micky. Can't believe I've just said that:shutup:

Same here, I think he has said before that the area reminds of his youth in Sheffield. Probably what football really means, not the bloated Prem of the present day. Think there will more on the Late Show.

Good managers don't become bad managers because they lose a few games. Micky Adams is a good manager, hope people give him a fair chance next season in a tougher league. If things get rocky next season, please don't post on here saying Micky is not good enough for League 1. Remember he has taken Leicester too the Premier League.

On the subject of Leicester, this is Micky's first proper taste of success since he guided Leicester up. I don't know what happened there but he never had the same success since the La Manga incident involving Leicester players. Hopefully now Micky has really got the bit between the teeth with this promotion and given him the spark needed to not only start next season in league 1, but have us flying in the division, thanks Micky your a legend in my eyes!!!!

Yeah I'm dreaming haha, but I think the pressure will be off the players now we are out of that league and we will actually do ok, hopefully we can attract a few decent additions to the squad. Lots of Midlands derbies to be up for, we may even have Wolves joining us!!

Right, I'm watching Late Kick Off, I've just cried, Micky has just cried. I can't get over this. I'm going to be drained going to work tomorrow.

That was great. It was very emotional when Mickys lad said how proud he was of his dad and how hard his dad had worked.Very touching moment and bought a lump to my throat.
