One of those days.Thought Morecambe were crap but nowt fell for us.If it were a boxing match the ref would have stopped it.Wingers did next to nothing,Jones and Burge very good

One of those days which all clubs get from time to time. Plus points are the performances of Jones, Purse and Duffy who were excellent. Keep it going, we are all right. Promotion is there for us, as others keep falling too and beating each other.

Williams and Vincent were none contributive so Pope had little feeding of the ball.

 

Defence was very good. Jones was good in defence and also trying to do the wingers job. MOM for me.

 

Too many high balls and too much head tennis.

Vale are better when playing balls across the ground. Dodds and Birchall might have been better subs.

Shocking from Adams today tactically (again) but we move on and must do fast, some excellent performances and some dire ones as well, I certainly hope to see some changes for the Torquay game.

Looked awful going forward and very one dimensional, everything good we did came from jones who was superb, I don't know how we have got him, far too good for this league, we needed Dodds today and someone to put the ball in the net, pope was very poor today as well, quiet all game and missed his chances, Vincent and Williams were dire, I've lost patience with Vincent. Burge was good on the ball and Dodds was alright, defensively sound would like to see Duffy play with purse more looked good together.
