Pitch was reseeded about 6/7 years ago and is generally one of the best pitches in the lower divisions. Its had alot of rain/Sleet/Snow combinations just this week! All pitches cut up to some extent, the pitch was not the problem today.

Things just need mixing up a bit, the team as well as style of play which is too predictable. Few players will need to be cleared out if we were to go up - Yates, Andrew, Shuker, Taylor who just dont cut it for me. Today was just a bad day at the office im sure. Carry on getting behind the team and no doubt we will get back too winning ways and achieve what we are capable of, winning this league!

It's not the first poor result we've had this season and it won't be the last, but then we're likely to go and win at Torquay, like we did Gillingham, Rotherham, Bradford.

 

We haven't had back to back defeats all season, and that's because we're a good side, and when someone does a job on us like Morecambe did today, we go back and win the next game.

I thought at times we were ok today slow at the start again for some reason never really hit the bline and got good balls into pope or hughes, nothing really fell for us I the box when it did we hit keeper or they got it clear somehow, horrible side to play can see why they have picked up so many points away from home

On the pitch issue,it is shocking,always is this time if year.

And when people say the old " both teams got play on it",havnt thought that thru,teams come to the vale with a plan to stiffle us,sitting behind the ball.so if the pitch stops us from passing n flying dwn the wings,it becomes more of a battle,helping there game plan not ours.

So yea the pitch is a issue.
