Pitches last 40-45 years max, ours has been there since for 60 odd.

 

Cullerton has just been going on about how it needs replacing as it's hindering us.

 

Utter rubbish from Cullerton. Morecambe coped with the conditions and managed to put the all in the net. The bloke on the touch-line hindered us more than the pitch!

Come on guys, the pitch was bad but it wasnt the reason we lost. We didnt want it enough from start to finish and they did. We need to play the games like we are the ones out to cause an upset. 2 games now where we have looked toothless, not enough shots from certain players when in very good areas and not enough gambling from the top two.

 

Now, lets make sure today is a blip and we get some more points on board over the next 5 matches to consolidate our very very good league position. please dont let the best oppertunity we are ever likely to have of getting out of this league slip.

Started slowly again - let them dictate the pace and their keeper was time wasting from the first minute.

 

Too much dwelling on the ball and no real urgency in getting it forward (I exempt Jones from that).

 

M-W anonymous after the incident where he might have seen a red. Neither winger was able to run with the ball to much effect because of the nature of the pitch.

 

A mistake by Neal handed them the points. He hasn't made many this season so I'll forgive him for that.

 

Why have we signed Birchall and put him on the bench if Micky Adams has no intention of bringing him on??
