However, how many other rejects that have been brought in that are worth keeping let alone being good enough for L1?

 

If the club is to improve to better things it's time for the new owners to dip into their funds and bring in some good quality footballers!

You may be able to pick up the odd gem shopping at bargain basement but as a general rule you need to pay for better quality. You pay peanuts...... as the saying goes!

...true, but how would we know? I get the impression that Adams doesn't look in the BSP or below - probably because he doesn't trust youngsters or players without league experience, seemingly regardless of their ability.

I actually think it is very difficult to get players to drop down a league or two nowadays as the money they are getting can rarely be matched and most players are not going to take a big cut. (how have barnet got Davids?)

So lets make do with the likes of Andrew/Madjo? Will Gills, Rotherham or Bradford be aiming to bring in cast offs from teams struggling to stay in the football league to push them to promotion?

Looked crap against us at their place, all he did was start a scrap with Morsy if I recall rightly... he seems to be one those that is immense in Non League but cant make the step up and bit like Sills at Torquay a few seasons ago who came up highly rated and did nothing, that said Tubbs was seen as that kind of player then had a decent League Two campaign with Crawley I guess.

 

Vardy from Leicester might be worth a loan, hasnt really done loads there and they have bought in Wood so he isnt likely to get much look in... now he would be hot at this level.

 

To get Jamie Vardy on loan would show some intent imo

We may be setting our sights on better, but we still have much worse in the squad. Should be signed up until the end of the season as he was a goal threat. Calvin Andrew is a waste of a wage. He seems like some sort of holding centre forward, which in real terms is probably the most pointless thing a player could ever be

Although mad joe did ok for us, mainly hat trick vAldershot, if he aint good enough for shots he aint good enough for us.

We need to aim higher.

i think we need to aim higher but he did ok for us while he was here,only admin stopped his signing and as ever if a forward aint getting the service then he wont do much for the team, if micky thinks that he could do a job for us and he can be a dangerous player given the right service then why not and he would costeth not a lot. and remember any player signed is not required by his club so all possible signings are cast offs.

andrew isn't match fit, he said it himself maybe micky figures hed be an asset with a full pre-season aka the pope, we do need a couple of signings,pity artell buggered off but not much activity on the transfer front as yet, very little in fact concerning the lower leagues.
