There are many issues to sort out. They have recently sorted out a lot of the financial issues and paid the the council off.The whole club was a mess throughout from root to branch. It can't be sorted out overnight and will take time.

That's not what Bob Young said. He said the club was in a good state.

I could understand if it was just us who'd had the game called off but it isn't.

Whilst a few miles away in Accrington, the league's worst pitch is deemed playable.

Let's see what happens as 3.00 p.m. approaches. I'll be amazed if Accrington play. I've been in the pub there twice to be told that the game had just been called off. They always leave it late.

What's it got to do with Burslem? If you read the posts properly you'll see I was questioning how Accrington can get their game on yet their neighbours Blackburn couldn't. Keep up eh!

Most humble apologies for misunderstanding you post sir.

New owners, same old tinpot PVFC. Covers that don't stop rain getting to the pitch, people unable to buy things from the online shop in the run-up to Christmas, owners coming out and making unrealistic (demoralising) statements to the press re: crowds.

Someone give me a nudge when things start to change. Actions speak louder than words.

What a crock! It's been rainy days no wonder the match is off. And as for having a go at the new owners they've had no time to address 10 years of mismanagement by V2001. Judge them after 6 months not 6 weeks.
