I’m sure we will take a chance on someone. But it’s going to be a blend isn’t it. Some players with league two experience, some from league one. Big rebuild job on the cards. 

I think all.of the out of contract players should be released. Try to offload at Shipley, Marosi, Paton.  Our current midfield is poor for injuries and creativity which needs addressing in my humble opinion.  We need a goalkeeper and a centre half improvement.

I think the 6 million loss tells us what Darrens moores pull was. I thinks his ability in the transfer market is a bit of a myth. The pull he did have was in convincing carol to keep giving him money despite having a bloated squad. Do we really think Moore was scouring the non leagues for gems like Tolaj? It took the guy half a season to realise he wasnt a winger! Absolute fraud. 

not a transfer but biggest priority in the close season is sort the blooming pitch out.

Charlton seem to have an abundance of strikers that they tend to loan out,maybe we could tempt one of them

They loaned Kelman out last season to Orient(I dont mean to loan him though as he features for them now)

This season Ahadme(Stevenage) Olaofe(Stockport) Kanu(Walsall) and Mbick(Colchester)

Profile of staff and the club all plays a part in pulling players to come and play here. Happens in every job, every industry. 100% was the case for Marvin IMO coming here. I do think you're right that he was about to convince the club into giving more and more. Without experienced football people guiding the ownership, then the ownership are more likely to make mistakes in judgement because they haven't got that experience they need. Ultimately we need better recruitment and footballing knowledge & experience at the club.

Even though Ruari's got a year left on his contract I can see him moving on in the Summer as I don't think Jon really rates him unless he really impresses him in pre-season.

So much for 'I know Scotland really well' but then won't play one of the players from there with a proven record 🤷‍♂️

I’d  like to see you get over an injury like Byers has this season- it isn’t a minor knock it’s a broken bone …..they don’t just mend themselves!! 
Isak at Liverpool has only just come back from a broken bone after months out and I suspect Liverpool have better medics than Vale !
