But we weren’t 2 nil down. Maybe he had the Exeter defeat in mind? Maybe he saw how we shut up shop at Orient? Maybe he thought that if they can stay in the game then come the second half players like Hall and Stockley could turn it in our favour?

You see fans on here and you hear fans in the ground saying we should be going for it and attacking. But let’s face it, we’re crap, so I have no problem with the manager being a bit more pragmatic and setting us up as hard to beat and scrapping for every point. That’s what it looked like Brady wanted to do tonight.  It seemed obvious to me that they’d been working on that defensive shape and discipline that we saw in the first half. Second half we pushed more but didn’t really create a chance, even when we started to gain some momentum in the game we couldn’t create a chance. But in the end we couldn’t hold on for a point, it was almost the perfect away performance….. but at home.

You have to agree it is easier to set up away from home to defend and score an odd goal and hold on for a point or three.

At home you have to have more quality and more attacking style.

Also you describe exactly the Darren Moore school of football and it has failed completely for most of the last two years since he was our manager.

You also describe how to lose hundreds of fans / season ticket sales due to the rubbish on view each home game/ Look at our record !!!

The starting line up was wrong, his half time subs were bang on but he should have changed something with 10-15 minutes to go in order to try and win the game.

I said on here after the Mansfield defeat that what’s already becoming obvious is Brady’s in game management is basically non existent. He’s not changed anything in game once yet

Don’t worry, he’ll be one of our best players next season, in League 2.👍🏻

Sorry. Need more than 3 goals a season from 40 appearances. His time is up with us.

Moore got critised and rightly so, when given his reputation, was unable to get a response out of the players that he'd inherited. Brady seems to be having the same problem. I wonder if he still believes that we are a talented squad, as he stated previously?

Brady will stay until end of deal, I don’t see us sacking him even if 18th next Jan. Lots to sort with this squad. Looking forward to Ojo, Croasdale, Stockley, Hall all leaving and replaced next season.

I disagree - Brady will go at the end of the season.

It already feels like it’s not the right fit with him.

I hope Carol is having fun counting all the Tolaj, Cole, Curtis money. League and FA cup prize money, gate receipts, TV money all whilst cutting the playing budget this January.

Dont think that will make too much of a dent in the £12million of her own money she's put in.

If thats the case I half expect he will go of his own choosing. I meant that I can't see us sacking him before the end of the deal, doesn't seem like anything Carol would do.

I bet Brady feels very let down by the club's recruitment department at the moment.

Take out the Blackpool game and it is 15 goals from 26 games. Once you take the goals from Barnsley. Exeter, Luton  and Mansfield games it comes down to 7 goals in 22 games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Says it all!

I can't remember a season where I have come away from games feeling such a lack of a bond between fans and the club. Folks have gone past caring, we just get up and shuffle out when we concede the late goal time after time

There is nothing to get excited about in games, nothing to get you out of your seat, no passion on the pitch and none in the stands

Maybe it's a symptom of modern football, the excitement is just not there anymore

Never mind training. Take all the squad to a farmyard and those who can't hit a barn door with a shovel should not make match day squad.

Not sure if I have thought the above through.  Applying the above technique would mean a team could not fielded for the game.

Danny Ward (ex Huddersfield) is a free agent. Proven goalscorer

Aged 35 but probably worth signing to end of season to replace Browne who I woukd gladly drove back to Derby today.

"We don't lose, we learn"

Some people at the club must have a PhD at this rate.

Also, if that's the case, why does every home defeat feel like Groundhog Day?

We seem to have learned the lesson of not to publicly say LinkedIn style <ovf censored> of "Championship ready" or "we don't lose, we learn". So that's a positive.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but Gray hasn’t had his medical yet…..

It’s ok mate. Vale always do their medicals after the player has signed permanently. They like to make sure that they have the accurate number of weeks they are out for before they tell the fans 🤣🤣🤣

With working gave it the wide berth ,didnt watch it either

Brady on what ive seen isnt up to the job ,his formations have no imagination

Not 1  clear cut chance created .

You cannot have ojo Croasdale and Garrity all on pitch at same time and Gabriel well where did they play him

Terrible result feel for those who did go

Our home form is totally disgusting .

Missing sat as going Lpool for stepsons Birthday .

Surely in our situation A gray should have been ready too play last night

May aswell play Henegan upfront he might flick a header on that Browns not up too league football .
