Match Thread - Port Vale v AFC Wimbledon

If the formation is as per the BBC website, then that looks quite a solid team. Not sure goal wise, but we have got Hall and Waine to come on

I’d like the team to be a bit more attacking really. I’ve still got no idea how Hall isn’t starting. Seems pretty solid but I don’t see us creating too much

Credit to everyone going the game tonight by the way. It's absolutely Baltic tonight!

I think sky is right its basically how we lined up on saturday but he has swapped gabriel for waine.

It’s plausible but Gabriel as a winger just doesn’t seem right to me. Guess we’ll only know once the game starts.

Minus the fancy graphic I have it as

                  Gauci

       John Humphreys Hall

  Gabriel Ojo Croasdale Gordon

           Garrity Archer

                  Brown

Gabriel has really struggled defensively since his return from injury, he is decent going forward though as we saw at Barnsley away and so it’s plausible.

Does seem odd though when more natural options are available.

Now we got lardie girls football after more lardie transfers.

Are we playing tonight - not according to radio sjoke by the looks of it.

Did we get players in and out - thought they would discus that prior to Vale playing.

Is the game on Sky+ tonight...??

To be honest, I'm past caring about team selection and formations now. As long as we win, I'll be happy. Stick the lads out in a 10 - 1 formation as long as we win [emoji846]

From that line up I would expect Brady is looking to get it out wide and put as many early balls in for Brown, with Garrity and Archer to pick up any loose clearances or knock downs to get shots in

Looks like Wimbledon brought about a hundred or so. Thats not to talk it down but fair play to all of them.

With that said into them Vale!!!

FFS - Now talking about lardies playing a team on saturday.  How bias are they.

Thought we were live on sky red button tonight??

Can't find it....

A win

Any win

Don't care

Come on Vale

Reckon the weather and the early kick off has knocked at least 1k off the gate here. Doesn’t even look 4k in. Embarrassing. Not blaming the fans either but rather the stupid KO time

I don't usually comment on team selection before the game but must admit given it's a home game that we need to win, I would have found a way to get G Hall in there somehow.
