That Stockley miss was inexcusable, for a recognised striker to not even work the keeper is simply not good enough.

On TV I went up shouting red straight away, looked to me he missed the ball as it doesn’t move. Probably in this day and age that’s often given.

A few points from that first half. 
Shipley is a <ovf censored> horrific footballer. He hasn’t got a right foot and his left one needs putting in plaster. Utter garbage.

Why is Stockley seemingly in behind Cole? Surely the target man should be on their last man? Cole is robbing a wage. Another fair weather player. At least Stockley is putting himself about.

Byers is waste of a wage. Always has been. If that’s my captain, I’m not responding. Minimal effort and couldnt lead a horse to water.

Lionel Richie at the back. He isn’t good enough. Sadly he’s the best we have. Says it all.

Johnson would probably stand out more in a good side. He’s the only one I’m looking at with some quality.

If this shower can’t score a goal in the 2nd half against ten men then those who go every week may as well find a new hobby until August.

Whatever Vale did better against Bradford has disappeared today, lack of urgency and ideas.

Got a chance now with the sending off but not holding any breath.

How does Stockley not at least hit the target with the only chance Vale created.

Poor goal to concede again, Amos may have saved it if it hadn't taken the deflection.

 

Memo to Smith: we are at home. Try changing to an attacking formation and play your best players. You know, Curtis and Hall on each wing, with a few crosses to our two strikers. Perhaps give Dazzer a call if you’re unsure…

The only players who can make anything happen is Byers and Johnson. We must surely go to a back 4 and get Hall and Walters on now. Blackpool have athleticism that we simply don’t have and isn’t that always the story this season.

Darren was not ever my messiah, and the League football performances this season have unarguably been unacceptably poor.

I simply believe in giving the maximum support that I can to the people who are currently managing (on and off the pitch) and playing for our club.

Others choose to believe that endlessly moaning their bags off in some way magically helps the club.
