There's a new sheriff in town

Martin Sherif 6ft 4 spent the first half of the season on loan at Rotherham but had 3 injuries whilst he was at the club all of them were hamstring injures so he only played 10 times and scored twice. Truth be told I think he might be Mo's replacement rather than Devante's.

Sounds like Santos couldn't cope with him when Everton's reserves played Swansea in a test game at their new stadium.

Depends on who Brady brings in during the summer and how much he has to pay for players. We'll likely see if he can get us promoted at the first time of asking.

I will give Brady time (Not that anyone cares} but I've been underwhelmed by the January transfer dealings so far and that's with Paton and Clark still here.  His comments about Paton yesterday were concerning, who cares whether he's a striker or a number 10, scoring a few goals is what matters.  Would he ship out a Tony Naylor?

I was cheering the Vale onto the win yesterday as much as any fan but we're not gonna win many matches playing like that.

As much as Vale haven't had the run of the ball in the 1st half of the season we had it yesterday. Ballard's scuffed effort from inside 6 yds and the post came to our rescue, as well as the absence of Aaron Connolly, who was a huge influence at Vale Park.

I suspect he wouldn’t ship Tony Naylor out, mainly because Naylor could score goals at this level (nevermind in the league below). I don’t think I’ll ever understand the faith folk have in Paton to score goals based on…nothing.

So we haves swapped Cole for this guy, who couldn’t stay fit in a poor Rotherham side

Who were you expecting?

Tbh I think he's Mo's replacement rather than Devante's.

Possibly not two Everton youngsters. Both haven’t exactly set the world on fire with their performances.

i was hoping for players who might have a little bit of pedigree or experience at least? To be fair I would be disappointed with these signings in league two let along league one.

But don’t worry the great escape is one right?

So do you think we might sign someone else…..?? Genuine question.
