I think it's unfair to apparently write off two players who haven't even pulled a Vale shirt on yet.

Yes, we've had some terrible loan players but we've also had some very good and influential loan players.

Isn't it better to let them actually play before passing judgement?

Apparently not

Not sure we are deluded by expecting a little bit more than these two right? I mean they distinctly very ordinary with very little experience.
my worry is that we are a struggling side so what the hell will these youngsters do? They Will literally crumble and will do them no good being in such a side that has almost no confidence.

I think all we were hoping for was slight more experienced players to come in, even if they had successfully had spells in league two or league one previously.

You do know the window is open for another day so these may potentially not be the final additions? We are full up on the loan front so I would imagine the club are looking at permanent signings - but it's a tough sell to get someone to move themselves (and potentially sell their house and move their family, their kids etc) to a club in bottom spot in League One. It's a heck of a tough sell. I'm sure Jon Brady will try it but I think the die was cast when we were so far adrift when the window opened - if a player has other options, he's likely to pick them over Vale I reckon.

Is the loan limit 5? If so any further incomings will be permanent.

6. 5 in a match day squad,

It probably depends more on what Vale offer to pay and the length of contract.

You can try an convince yourself that these two will be our saviour (Im sure you don’t) but my biggest worry is that this feels like budget is being stripped back to protect us when we get relegated.

It's not about convincing of anything.

It's about not BS'ing and writing a player off for some reason you've made up without seeing somebody with your own eyes.

I honestly worry about the intelligence of people willing to believe whatever nonsense rather than what they see for themselves.

I would be amazed if we persuaded someone with experience to come and sign for us permanently, it must be a hard sell for Brady to convince players to come.  Fingers crossed though. It’s a sad indictment on the season and our position.

Completely agree Rob. You are right it is a hard sell right now, and hopefully these won’t be the last. I thought Archer looked good over the past two games but I don’t have that much faith in the football side of the club. Remember it’s not Brady getting these players but others who think they a better placed to get players in…….but look at their record.

So we haves swapped Cole for this guy, who couldn’t stay fit in a poor Rotherham side

How have we swapped him..... the deserter Cole didn't want to play for us ,so he was told to leave, get your facts right firstly before you spout utter bollox 🤣🤣

I doubt we are signing anybody permanently based on what the club have said how we'll approach the market. Unless its some player Brady really liked already before joining, that is.

It makes much more sense to get the relationships with Brady and recruitment team going and evaluate the summer market.

Always funny those who think they know a players motivations. I doubt Cole would have been made captain for our 150 year anniversary game if he was being that much of a <ovf censored> off the pitch. Bigger and better side came in for him, why would he stay?

Never heard of the new signings. Does feel like the kind of thing we do every January, sign a load of kids on loan hoping one is decent. I’m happy with both areas we have strengthened though. Sherif sounds like he could be a handful of he can stay fit. Are these two under contract for next season? Maybe an audition for a summer permanent move. I’m not expecting amazing things but it’s two young lads who will be giving there all so fingers crossed they impress. Can we convince someone proven at this level to sign to complement these two? There has to be someone out there not getting a game that could do a job for us. Burton got that bodvarsson whilst they were bottom last season so there must be players out there.

Sorry I’m confused? I didn’t mean we literally swapped him you doughnut.

i mean his position has been taken by a 19year old who has played little or no games and who comes with very odd reviews.

Get your facts straight before you attack others
