You could tell how much that goal really meant to him as well

Yep, it really did mean a lot to him as I bet he has wanted to score a goal for ages and I don't believe that rumour from a few days ago where somebody said that he had handed in a transfer request.

What would people thoughs be on a national league striker signing, rather than a youth from premier league or championship? Ollie Pearce is too old in my opinion.

I have said a few times I wouldn't mind that but there are some on here who dont think we will be spending money in this window so not sure we will be shopping there or not

Personally I can still see us paying a fee for the right player

Knowing Brady,if John had done that then he wouldn't be in the squad,so that hasn't happened

Doubt the right player will still be available this late in the window, personally I think we are done with permanent signings until the next window and Brady has a bit more time to assess what he needs.

I was talking to someone at the club about him. They said that he’s very sensitive and bored of the UB40 gags, that’s he had to put up with over the years.

Apparently he’s said,

’If it happens again, I’m leaving’

Hes on the red red wine!!!!😄

Some spotty teenager running Port Vale Hub on Twitter for likes reckons he's going to Fleetwood.
Brady has said in his comments to Mike B that he doesn't see Ruari as a striker, but a #10/wide forward.
So jury is out whether he's really in the plans or not

He's obviously not in his plans otherwise he would have at least made match day squads.

The debate around if he's good enough aside, he doesn't fit in to the way we are playing under Brady.

Yep, given what we now know when it comes to Brady if this was true Kyle would not have been in the squad so I think it's safe to say that this rumour was 100% false.

Any "decent" forward or youngster with potential  is going to a club on edge of playoffs or promotion...we aren't getting anyone to make a difference..

In the summer but not in January.

I agree, but if the worst should happen the next window will be a different ball game entirely

I'd ask the fleetwood fans for their opinion on him but there aren't any 😁

He played for Fleetwood 2 years ago this week when they beat us 3  0

In same team as Stockley and Heneghan.

Had a great game too from memory.

Tall, left sided center back, plenty of pace and pushed forward.

At this point, what harm can it do. I know there has been widespread derision of the Tyler signing, but he has replaced big Jesse who came from non league himself 🤷‍♀️; look at Macclesfield's exploits, and many of the national league teams coming up to the 4th division more than hold their own, so quality difference can't be that massive - so it's a why not from me 👍👍

Pace seems to be the common thread with Jb signings so far
