Hope Eli turns out as good as George Pilkington and Kyle John who both initially came on loan from Everton.

It's Eli Wallach we need 🔫

It's a weird one if down to personality as that would be two managers on the bounce

How could anyone ever not like rauris personality ???

I suppose it could be one of many reasons, for me there is 100% effort from him, obviously lacking in technique at times but give me a trier any day. Maybe he’s a Gazza type player always arsing around or being late for training which winds managers up, if your as good as Gazza was you get away with it if your in league 1 or two you don’t, look at Gary Roberts from a few years back, brilliant on the pitch but off it a nightmare, I don’t suppose we get the full story but I will be sorry to see him go if he does.

Honestly when it comes to Ruari my guess would be that Brady just doesn't think he fits what he wants to do. Anything personality-wise would likely come from the coaching staff who were here under Moore who never seemed to give the impression he liked the group of him, Curtis and Chiz together.

The comments about people giving their all would be more applicable to Shipley who has gone from starting to being completely bomb-squadded. Never gave much room for interpretation what he thought of him after the Exeter game.

We've had a pretty decent hit rate with defenders from Everton in the past whether it was Peter Clarke on loan, George Pilkington and Kyle John now obiously.

When you look at the Kyle John signing I still find it hard to believe that when he was at Everton he never went out on loan anywhere and that last season was his first season playing league football. I mean you would never have known that from how well he played last season and he is definitely very underrated IMO as he always gives 100% whenever he plays so I was thrilled for him when he scored his first ever career goal yesterday.

Good shout. Tactical side of it would make sense, he says hes not a main striker in his eyes (probably for what he wants to do), and the #10/wide forward comment is convenient as we either aren't playing with one or it would be occupied by Garrity or Hall.

So we'll see, I guess.

"Hancock said when Brady identifies a player he wants in or out then it will be Darnbrough’s job to deal with agents and clubs to get the deal closer.

It would be then up to Hancock to sign off on the deal providing he’s happy with the wage, contract and other details. "

https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/uk-sport/25814372.port-vale-boss-jon-brady-calls-support-transfer-window/

"Port Vale manager Jon Brady has called for more support in the transfer window"

So Brady identifies players he wishes to sign and it is up to the club staff to ensure those players are signed. So far, we have got a young winger on loan and a defender from the 7th tier on a short-term contract. Out the door have been five players, including our top scorer and a winger to clubs higher than us, and a veteran winger who joined us from the Championship.

Brady himself stated “With what we’ve got at the moment, I’ve only got two strikers available and right now in the window we need support in that area.”

Journalists at the Herald have interpreted that as Brady calling for more support from the club in terms of recruitment. They have made that interpretation from the part where Brady explicitly stated that he needed more support in terms of recruitment. You are entitled to interpret things however you wish. Perhaps Brady is delighted to lose his best players and have <ovf censored> all coming in to replace them. Maybe he decided to risk his management caree ron this bold strategy.

Brady also stated more than once, that he doesn't want players who don't want to be here, so that accounts for  and Cole. Johnson only wanted a short term contract. Plant we haven't seen him for two seasons and Debra had slipped down the rankings, and Faal, say no more. We still have a big squad, so some trimming had to be done. Brady has said the same. He wasn't reckoning on Cole going, but once he heard Luton were in for him he couldn't wait to express his desire to leave. I would think he will do his utmost to bring in one or two more strikers, one of which probably on loan. Lets see what happens in the next couple of days.

Sad for Paton as I think his personality is infectious which makes you want him to succeed. Unfortunately what it also does is makes people believe he’s better than what he is. Not happened for him at vale and didn’t happen for him up at Dundee either so I think it would be the right move. Wish him all the best but ultimately he hast been good enough in a vale shirt.

Kyle didn't join us on loan @Alfie1962 as we signed him on a free transfer and tbh if Mitch hadn't have fractured his neck in pre-season I actually don't think we would have signed Kyle even though we had him on trial at the time.

I would disagree, they are/were overpaid as they have'nt earned their money.

Tolaj blossomed when he left us he wouldn't have scored as many as he has if he had stayed here he didn't score that many for us last season in a lower division, curtis is starting and playing well at Plymouth and I predict cole will do well at luton.

I personally don't think the players were the problem.

After watching the team yesterday I would have thought Ruari and Garrity would link up very well both read the game so well bit of a shock if the rumors are true hope not. I can only think he's not in his long term plans, I also said in a earlier post if Cole goes we should get prem league forward on loan so we have a chance of staying up not a defender we should have plenty of money left from Cole deal I think Ccome on Vale

I'd ask the fleetwood fans for their opinion on him but there aren't any 😁

He scored 15 goals, scoring 20+ is extremely rare and is basically golden boot. Bit unfair to say he didn't score that many.
