True but not every club will be after the same player. Again look at Burton last Jan, rock bottom pretty much as far behind as us but managed to sign bodvarsson off Bolton on loan. We will still be an attractive proposition in league 2, surely someone not playing in league 1, out of contract in the summer would be up for joining us.

Bodvarrson wasn’t on loan from Bolton, he moved to Burton in January after his contract was cancelled, he scored ONE goal for Burton on his debut and three months later buggered off back to Iceland never to be seen again, is this the type of player we should be looking for in your opinion ?

So if it’s not Brady getting these players in who the hell is it ?, are you even aware of how it works ?, Brady names his targets/type of player, head of recruitment goes out and tries to get the targets reports back as to what it will cost, club says yes or no. Head of recruitment will obviously make Brady aware of who is on the market but to suggest the head of recruitment is telling Brady who he must sign is just a total misunderstanding of how the system works, no manager would work in those circumstances.

of course if you have some inside knowledge about this please enlighten me but I’m guessing not.

I'd love to see the criteria for a Faal replacement.

In fairness 1 goal is as good as about 90% of our current squad. The bar isn't high.

Croasdale is our league top scorer at the club now Cole and Curtis have left. Jesus wept. [emoji28]

That is indeed true, however on that logic the guy we have just signed scored 2 for Rotherham in 10 games so must be twice as good as Bodthingymejigson when he set Burton alight

Sorry my mistake. I thought it was a loan deal. (Even better if contract cancelled, exactly what I was saying could happen)
He was excellent for Burton, not all about goals. I have a mate who goes Burton week in week out and Bodvarrson was key in their survival. A bit of a battering ram and not a great footballer but won headers and knew where the net was. Could only last 45/60 mins but was key for them.
Wiki says 5 in 13…. Not one?

So yes that’s the kind of player I’d like us to go for.

Don’t matter where they come from as long as they keep coming.

He has 2.

lets just welcome the two lads to the Vale we need good relationship with premium league team's it will be vital and sometimes it can be a better road to go down instead of us being stuck with a contract. Everton are renowned for picking up young talent let's get behind them for me there energy will be good for our team especially when we have such a team that as under performed this season. We all thought around mid table with the talent we had im going to say it alot of the mistakes and they were mistakes were nothing to do with Moore that was purely down to the players messing it up and letting there selves and us down. New chapter cut the mistake out get rid of the pre Madonna's who couldn't get a club before we came in but they soon forget about that because loyalty has gone out of some not all players. We start over Vale and give everything to help them and we shall achieve our goal to stay in this  division.

Less moaning including myself more beleaf COME ON VALE

Where is the bs? Every report from within the club says that Cole wanted to go. First rumours from sources, then figures involved with the club like Adam Yates, then the manager confirms that he wanted to leave and his head was ‘completely turned’. No reports say otherwise

It’s absolute tosh to try turn it back on Cole.

Hes got himself a better job than the one he was in, simples.

That’s twice Brady’s managed turn something into a pile on with players when they have moved onto to better clubs than Vale.

It is very simple with both Curtis and Cole that better & bigger clubs have come in for them both, in which they would also get more  money and they have wanted to go & not stay at a club that’s adrift at the bottom of the league and a club that’s been pathetic most of the season.

I don’t give two hoots what Adam Yates says. He’s just been used for a mouthpiece for people high up in the club to try and stop the club getting any more grief.

Show me all the other reports coming out of the club part from Brady’s interview.

I will tell you one thing, if a bigger club than Vale come in for Brady, he wouldn’t think twice about staying for the fight

If someone offered more.money for my job and gave me better opportunities. I would take it. But I known would still give everything in my current job so not to let people down.

Yes and we have done that, Sherif is a big unit, good in the air and with pace, he was unlucky at Rotherham with 2 bad injuries but still managed 2 goals and an assist in a poor side. As a bonus he is on loan from a premiership side who clearly see something in him or would have released him not loaned him out.

he may may or may not be what we need but let’s at least give the lad a chance just because Faal didn’t work doesn’t mean this guy wont

Showing a complete lack of loyalty to the club and its supporters, I for one don’t want that type of player at Vale
