    Tolaj didn't score today and apparently missed a sitter. He may have scored more than our other strikers if he had stayed this season but he alone also wasn't the answer. He now has 1 goal in 5 league starts.

    Port Vale by far best team we played last season, if it hadn't have been for injuries they would have won league easy

    Vale were all over the place 2nd half, after a decent first half . Moore didn’t react to the Doncaster changes , and that big unit Pearson gave Waine a right kicking . Midfield was non existent , and it was alarming how easy it was for them to stroll though . We need a decent striker soon or we’ll be cut adrift with 10 or 15 games gone.  UTV

    That’s one more than all are other forwards and midfielders have scored in 5 league games this season.

    Some of our performances last season were dreadful. More than a handful of them as well. We struggled against sides at the bottom and in lower mid table but got decent results against those around us. Despite automatic promotion and some good performances so far this season, I’m still not convinced by DM as a manager.

    First half the better side but didn't score (a worrying trend), second half utter garbage.

    DM has won 2 of the 26 league 1 games in charge of the Vale.
