Aren’t football fans wonderful! “Worst week ever at vale”…lowest league one points ever being talked about. Talk about overreactions. Flappers will flap. Same every season. We will be fine once we work out where the net is. Would be more worried if we weren’t creating any chances. Keep the faith.

notice nippy is back, where did he go for promotion? Anyone see him? Hopefully we will start winning just so the forum sees the back of him if nothing else. Sad little man

Careful, that looks a lot like a reasonable and balanced view.

Just listened to DM on the radio and sorry big guy but don't agree that we were ok second half we were absolutely terrible second half. First half we competed and created chances second half it looked like we found AC's half time Horlicks again because we were sluggish and looked completely devoid of ideas. Their manager made changes and that won them three points.

Ultimately the chances we missed, again, first half cost us the game. I think faal was blowing after half an hour and he missed our best chance and waine is frustrating because he is only half a player gets into good positions gives 100% but he never seems to know what to do with the ball once he has got it and I doubt he will reach double figures this season.

So its over to you DM we need a finisher and if there is any money left a dominant CB.

Until the 88th minute on Tuesday I was really enjoying the season, despite the results.  I said at the time that if we didn't start picking up points then the pressure would build quickly, and I think that we are either there or rapidly getting there now.  Hopefully a quality replacement for Tolaj can make a big difference.

Exactly what I was saying on Tuesday too

He was excellent last season in our game as well

Awful second half cost us dearly. Faal and Waine aren't league 1 forwards and the Tolaj money needs to get us 2 capable goalscorers, unfortunately we will probably go for more cheap options. Don't recall our keeper making one save which tells it's own story.

They were better but plenty of poor decisions, mostly in our favour though.

Just heard that on the radio and said to my wife that it’s a strange statement to make. Almost sounds like a “we won’t be replacing Tolaj so stop asking”. Bizarre.

You are speaking absolute garbage tonight.

Radio Stoke reported before the game kicked off that every penny is being given to Big D for new player or players.

why is their need for the club to keep telling us their transfer plans or to keep discussing Tolaj’s transfer to Plymouth?

Macauley Langstaff not in the Millwall match day squad today, can only hope.

The only positive is that the writing is on the wall if improvements to the squad are not made.  I am still to decide if Waine and Shipley are good enough and sorry but is Faal just reminds me of Uche.  Success on the pitch drives success off the pitch, time to get the cheque book out again Carol.

Well, we spoke about it yesterday so I don't think the club want to repeat what they have already said. I think we will be replacing Tolaj it's just about getting the right player in.

ive not calmed down yet. all i can say is that cool 1.2m better be spent on something decent because that side is going down without reinforcements. no wonder tolaj jumped ship.

Tough watch today.

The amount of times we gave the ball away carelessly was silly. Never seen us be so poor when trying to pass the ball to a team mate.

It seems that the only way we score or are going to score is either: dead balls (free kicks, corners etc.) or by getting the wing backs to cross the ball.  This requires some great delivery, as well as, the ability to score.

We don't seem able to play our way through the opposition, move their defence around and create chances.

What worries me is if we are bringing in a striker, are we going the create any chances for them?

For example, apart from dead ball situations, how many chances did we create today?

My take on that statement is signing a goal scoring striker is a tough thing to do at the best of times without broadcasting it to the world, why make it even more difficult. Keep stum.
