Absolutely dreadful. On the basis they looked light years ahead of us

We weren’t in the relegation zone when Moore arrived.

Fraudcroft had made the side poor and the players we had were not great.  It had the look of a struggling side and lacked confidence.

This side will soon be lacking confidence if not already.

We miss Croasdale and Byers a lot when they are both out of the side.  One offers protection to the defence with his tackling and workrate, the other gives us some creativity. We need to make sure they play together as much as possible to get some cohesion.  Bad day today - we need to put it behind us and get a striker in quickly.

We were far better in the first half.

That was a painful watch a big few days for us in the transfer window now if we dont get the right bodies in i sense a long relegation scrap ahead.

Well, the writing’s on the wall if you’ve known about this - apparently - for two weeks, with a week or so left, and haven’t recruited a replacement. All that money needs to be spent on a new strike force or it’s curtains, even allowing for Stockley coming back.

Relying on two young raw recruits with no real record of scoring is simply asking too much. I’m all for players giving it everything but running round for 90 minutes with no end product is the exact opposite of what we need.

So, we either spend the money on players who we know by their record will score or we run a serious risk of going back to L2 because if you can’t score goals there’s only one direction and it ain’t up.

Another 1st half of woulda, shoulda, coulda, although that 2nd half sounded absolutely garbage. We need at least 2 strikers and probably a CB before the window shuts otherwise we are goosed.

Replied to myself

Terrible. (1st half good)
Humphries played well, probably the only signing we’ve made who looks good.
The rest were just flat and not interested.
Concerned, useless up front and make errors at the back.
Big week this. We need a number of players to come in as the likes of Waine aren’t good enough.
<ovf censored> transfer window.
Ref had a good game again.
If Moore keeps starting the likes of Waine his days will be numbered.

Massive transfer window now.

We look utterly clueless going forwards. Suppose that’s what happens when you sign attacking players who aren’t better than what you already had

It's what happens when we have such a defensive minded manager who lacks the instinct to become attack-minded. I hope he watched Chelsea's performance at West Ham last night. Total attacking, exciting and breathless football. When could we last say about a PV performance under DM?

Had too many bad days recently

Moore , his staff and the players need to get their act together because this is all on them

Well that was pretty crap.

Completely agree. The 2 halves were poles apart

Ooooofff....that second half was a painful watch. McCann's subs blunted us but we looked light years behind them and I'm not sure why? Offered nowt second half and their keeper could have had a cigar on. Only start of the season I know but a few worrying signs for me......oh well win at Reading next week and we're off and running.

Hopefully some incoming this week to kick start us.
