    Deserved the 3 points. Offside goal was onside. We had 3 or 4 other excellent opportunities, and they could very easily have had a man sent off. We were wasteful but play like that and goals will come.

    The liner did the same for Byers header which hit bar. Incompetent tosser….and the tackle on Tolaj was right in front of him.

    Can’t fault any of them. Excellent high energy performance, DM got it spot on, only slight criticism he seemed to settle for the point at the end rather than gamble and freshen it up. Would have taken a point beforehand. If Mitch stays fit he’s championship quality. Play like this all season and we’ll be more than comfortable. UTV!

    All in all there, some big big positives to take from it. Football was great, defended well, attacked well, just got stick it in the net. 
    Top 10 this season I think.

    The TV replay showed that Byers was well onside, and the commentators said that there would have been 'serious questions' for the officials if the ball had gone in.

    Officials  were atrocious, especially the Railway liner. He made it all about himself . The ref showed the same arrogance , with his wry smiles after each decision. He knew he was on tv. Awful .  The worst at Vale Park in some time.

    Awful officiating, perfectly good goal disallowed, based on Saturday it was defo a red card for the Cardiff full back. Can we also all get behind Ojo, he has been immense in both games so far.

    Once heard Danny Baker on Radio 5 Live say that all refs are either bent or incompetent. Thought it was a bit harsh at the time but tonight’s performance really makes you think. Three out of 10 for each of them. 
     

    And there I was thinking the calibre of ref would be better now we’re a league higher 😂

    Let’s hope it gets better.
