Great half. That said, this feel like the Derby home game of a couple of years back.

Excellent performance that. Just missing a goal. For me, Ojo has been the real outstanding player but impressed with Clark and Tolaj too. Also think Gordon has done well against a tricky winger.

Well done Vale.  Took it to them and looked like a seasoned League 1 side.

Just need to take a couple of chances as they will push Vale in the 2nd half.

One thing I will say is that we seem far stronger on the right hand side than the left. Gordon hasn't really got forward, whereas Clark has bombed on time and again.

If I was granted a wish by a genie, I'd turn myself into Mitch Clarke.

That’s the feeling I’ve got from it as well. Especially with their bench

Decent 1st half that.  We've been looking by far the more likely to score.  I just hope that we don't live to regret some of these chances.  Hopefully we start to get a few more decisions out of the ref 2nd half, as he has seemed to be giving them license to play outside of the rules in the 1st half.

More of the same please Vale. The goal will come. The midfield has been outstanding.

There are those that say that he is the Belgian maestro, and that he never gives the ball away.

what a great 45 minutes - carried straight on from second half of Rotherham - nice to see people giving Funso his due👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 and as others have stated, Mitch has done well, but the team as a whole have been really solid - and I love this midfield 3

Excellent 1st half performance by Vale, unlucky not to be in the lead. Two headers by Jesse and the attack by Curtis which was within an inch of producing a goal.

Mitch Clark is playing like a man possessed. more of the same DM.

Cracking first half, that! Ojo & Mitch were the standouts. Nice to see us have a go. Think we look very dangerous going forward, especially on the counter. Come on, Vale!

Thought we were excellent as team 1st half and playing some really good football

Shooting practice needed.

Hope we don’t rue all those missed chances.

Yes, a great 90 mins where we seem to be enjoying life in a new league.
