I can Understand for finances we need the fans to turn up, but why always drag the fans down by saying we need fans above 5000 every gate or face going out of business as if it's our fault! Like todays sentinel saying if we basically don't come watch vale every week or plough money in we won't have a club and the future of the club is on our heads! It's not fair all we have ever done is support vale and spend money and once again if we don't turn up it's basically our fault! Bob could drop prices for games people would turn out more and More money would be make in the long run! It's not our fault, we are trying to support vale all we can

I was very disappointed with the size of the home crowd today (how many away fans?) - what do we have to do to get them back -

Yorky Valiant, you should read the statement from the SC and the administrators and you will see that the 5,000 figure is just a benchmark based on forecasted income from other sources and expenses that are in the budget. Like any other business target, it is always nice when you beat it every time, but there will be occasions when you don't and hopefully it balances up. Today was a good day for the club all round. Anyone who went today who isn't encouraged to go back must be daft. Folks like me that couldn't get to the game are dying to do so now. That's the way it works.

Was today the real crowd or the "real" crowd? All I know is that the vibe walking to the ground was ace and the fans were up for it. If so called Vale fans who can attend but just dont, carry on doing so, then **** off.
