This reads that we're both odds on to win the same game!

Can you clarify?

It's for the season. Which of the two teams finishes higher in the league. 1 v 1.

Confidence that's the name of the game, our squad should play with the confidence that they can finish in the top 3, let's all build that confidence together, keep believing up the Vale 🏆🥇

Be a gutter if that's right for the Cardiff game.  One if our biggest attendances of the season lost. Say, 2000 off the gate,  50 grand lost

Good job the the owners took that into account when they voted to sell the rights - not just our owners but ALL of them , which includes the likes of Cardiff . So no tears lost in either boardroom then ......just in the stands from the supporters first match plans have been fcuked up.

If as you say lose at least 2k off gate  how much do Vale make from the TV rights for game and league 1 annual sponsorship, long live real football, to Hell with Skye. Up the Vale

The bookies who have so far published odds have us as joint (with Exeter) 3rd favourites to be relegated -

Any knowledgeable punters here know how we can bet against that?

I.e. how we can bet that Vale won't be relegated?

AFC Wimbledon and Northampton Town are first and second favourites.

On further reading, it is said on another site to be possible to back a team "Not to be relegated", also sometimes listed as “To stay up”.

But I don't find any such odds offered anywhere.

Is anyone here more knowledgeable about this?

Still looking, if any knowledgeable punters can assist?

SkyBet have just confirmed that they don't offer this bet now, but may consider introducing such a market.

But I won't hold my breath.

Does Spireite till i die still visit us?

All suggestions for placing such a bet would be welcomed.

From my betting knowledge Alan I've only ever seen odds to stay up quoted during the latter stages of the season. Usually when there are single figures left of games to go.

For example we were all getting giddy about lard getting relegated, I saw them at 1/7 to stay up with about 3 games left.

A completely educated ( made up ) guess were odds available, would be we'd be very short like 1/3 to stay up .

I don't think you'll find odds, nor will there be any value.

Spireite may know better than me but I don't think you'll see odds to stay up.

Hope thats some help.

Stick your money in an easy saver for now and then throw it down when the market opens in about 6 months

Well, it's all kicking off at Morecambe

Not a market on there unfortunately.

Well realistically Burton have managed to stay up and are a proven league 1 club. A few of our signings are a bit unknown at this level and we have Moore who relegated us last time. I think we will stay up, but a bookie would obviously see Burton as a safer bet to stay up.
