Don't think you will find a "To finish tenth or above".....

 

 

It's always a "TOP HALF/BOTTOM HALF" bet.......

I'd take that - how do you find such a bet...??  Its not on their website

ATM, I can only find bet 365 doing the divisional match betting but most bookies should have a book by the end of this month...

I gathered from Carol last night that the 2nd quadrant was the target.

I’ve not been into a brick and mortar bookies ever… but can you not enquire about these ‘new’ markets and they’d offer some odds? Obviously would have been able to before age of internet, wonder if still a thing?

I've never been a gambler and have only ever been in a bookies once. Around 1970 my mate and myself had been playing snooker in Hanley snooker hall, all day. When we came out in the late afternoon, we had £1 left between us. So we went in a bookies close to and put it on an outsider at 20/1. There was a professional gambler in there in his pin striped suit at the time, and he put a lot of money on another horse. We thought we had no chance, but you guessed it, ours won the race. 😂

I even remember the horse, it was called medicinal compound. 

The gambler was fuming and tore his betting slip up and binned it. 

Strangely, I've never gambled since, but I have a reason for that. 

Thought I'd just tell you that as its a bit boring on here at the moment. 😂😂👍 UTV

How about 1/10000000000000000000 for Rampant Zebra to post another charming comment about Darrell Clarke?

I thought it was good odds since Darrell already has a relegation to non league on his CV for Bristol Rovers.

Carefully not mentioning that Darrell was appointed manager of the already doomed Bristol Rovers in March 2014.

Or that Darrell immediately followed those few weeks with two successive promotion seasons, taking Bristol Rovers from non-League straight up to EFL1.

Oddschecker are now listing William Hill offering 3/1 on Vale finishing 12th or higher -

Seems like skinny odds, considering they are also offering 15/8 on Vale being relegated.

I still can't find any offers of my own sought bet on Vale finishing 20th or higher, i.e. not being relegated.

I'd probably be tempted by the 12th or higher bet, if the odds were say 4/1.

I would wait a bit while the market matures and moves a bit before start of the season. Odds on top 6 finish only 11/1 on Paddy Power right now.
