Of course we’ve signed Rico permanently now.

Yes - class him as replacing Chizzy on the permanent staff, thus freeing up a loan space

I've always felt Ojo has ability just his lazy half soaked performances/attitude once Crosby was sacked has turned people against him(coupled with his comments as you say). He may be different in training who knows but tends to have that Constantine style on the pitch(for want of a better way of putting it) so when he and team play poorly he's one of the automatic first scapegoats.

I think he's had long enough in the UK to understand enough English he was at Wigan and Aberdeen before Vale remember and is also married to an English/British lady I believe(the one who makes the old kits into other clothes/sewing)?  Shrewsbury fans thought exactly the same as us about him, played well in the odd game but was generally lazy(although he was far from the only one as they had a pretty crappy season all told).  I'd be surprised if we see him in a Vale shirt again at least in the league(unless we have a bad injury crisis in CM).

I've just Google searched both lazy and Ojo on the Shrewsbury message board. Their fans certainly aren't shy in describing players as lazy! Luke Leay (not sure why as doing well at Wycombe) and Shipley are the only 2 players they referred to.

Ojo seems to have done well in some and less so in others. The common thread was Ojo and Gillead in midfield was way too defensive.  Probably reflects a manager with a poor squad trying to steal points. He was the only loan player where there was a 50/50 split on wanting to keep in January - all the others they wanted sent back.

Ojo is actually older than Lowe, who was clearly way past the player who had performed in the Premiership. It's a tough gig playing midfield and Ritchie Smallwood is very much an outlier having a good season at Bradford at 34. The reality is he'll be very much in the final phase of his career next season. Walker and Porter were retired at younger ages, Earle carried on a year longer.

The others being Amos, Humphreys, Ojo, Hart?

Yeah think that’s who he mentioned

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but has anything been mentioned by DM regarding Garrity, is he injured or not fully match fit yet?

Finished last season injured so will be behind the others in terms of fitness.  “Volume” to quote DM.

Seen a Sheffield Wednesday page on Twitter linking us and a number of other League One clubs to Canadian Striker Theo Corbeanu.

Trying to think who he reminded me of then. Then it clicked the late Ben Cross from Chariots of Fire😂

“ Volume”. Another term to make a simple game complicated. Not a dig at you, Ray.

Only 23, 6ft 3 stiker/winger. Seems to be doing well this season at Toronto but hasn't done well anywhere else.

Wonder if he runs in slow motion...

Seems to be the profile of a modern academy player. My guess would be he's had to play a lot of positions to get game time. It's always been the case that centreforwards often played initially out wide. A trend exacerbated by teams playing one up front. Is he any good? Moore would probably have an idea having been his manager.

It may not just be him.

All the contracted players at Sheffield Wednesday will be entitled to walk away on a free 15 days from today if they are not paid on time.

Some have said he was a fan favourite at Sheff Wed and under Moore I would assume,IF and it's a big IF we were in for him then he would be given a chance like i do everyone we sign, lets not go off stats all the time, that doesn't always tell us the type of player he is

He isn't at Sheff Wed mate,he is at Granada but on loan to Toronto

Going back to Sheff Wed though I will be amazed if no players have been in contact with DM,now whether we can afford any of their wages is another matter, once they can walk away all the better players can demand whatever wage they want in reality
