Has anyone heard anything about the lad man City took off us? I seem to remember he went to Forest with a view to a £4M transfer.   Was hoping the sell on clause would release funds this window?

Have I missed owt?

Cheers

Yes, I was wondering about him too!

Some random Barnsley fan has tweeted a rumour that Max Watters might be on his way to Aberdeen but he believes that Vale are also interested in him(he seems the type of striker Moore is targeting) good in the air, strong with pace so can run in behind

Well it's a rumour at least 🙂

I suspect he has a bit of a mixed relationship with Moore. Moore released him at Doncaster!

Decent listen. Interesting that Gabriel sees himself as RWB or right back. Big competition with Clark.

Big headache for the manager. But that's what we want to be successful.

I think it's intentional. DM speaks regularly about the demands on the wing backs.

Both will feature and he will 'manage their load' in the hope of keeping them fit, and, by using both in a game, will maintain a high level of energy for 90+ minutes.

It's a built in feature of building a squad with two decent players for each position, plus having players who can play in more than one position.

Akin Famewo hasn't been spotted in training either. I'd have him!

Read a couple of articles in the Rotherham press. Cam, as they call him, is referred to as a Rolls Royce player. Sounds like he will be a joy to watch.

They also refer to the down side of this, in that he can look a bit lethargic.

First season, in the championship, he was outstanding, got a bad injury two seasons ago and missed most of it. They were relegated. Last season mixed. Fall out with Evans, then returned, playing sublimely in midfield and then centre back.

New manager offered contract, but kept his options open. He wasn't going to raise the offer.

I'm certainly looking forward to watching a Rolls Royce central defender 😎

If he's half as good as Bill Bentley was, that'll do for me 😄

Brilliant read. It felt like his dip in form came at the same time as Rotherham’s downfall, and a change of scenery was probably just what he needed. There’s no better bloke than Moore to get him back to his best.

"Humphreys arrived from Belgian club Waregem in 2022, sang ‘Valerie’ at his initiation ceremony and continued to hit the right notes throughout his first campaign."

So he could sing that again here but just change the pronunciation to........ Vale..erie.😂

This is worth listening to as an update on what every one has done this week in transfer land

Cheers Osh.

Huddersfield the team for me though their rookie manager was a leftfield appointment.

The team is starting to shape up. Still need GK, ST and additional CB cover required?

I don't know what that is, or what the numbers are below each player. But Ojo 'EXTINCT' made me snort.
