Was at the friendly think paton got frustrated he didn't have an impact. Probably thinking of his spot and career.

Nobody had an impact.  Everybody looked tired, along with having one eye on another game tomorrow.

Hannant was skipper, player of the year and scored 15 goals from the wing last season. He's also got extensive previous League experience. I can see why Oldham, who will have played him, may think he can step up to League Two again. I'm not saying he'll tear up any trees but you can see the logic of the signing.

Absolutely, he was actually ok for us. To quote you he didn't tear up trees but was a steady player.

GK and ST trialists does this mean our budget is at the upper limit before players leave?

Do we have players we are interested in but can’t make a move as selling club waiting on transfers to conclude before the player is available?

Are we just doing due diligence with trialists in the hope of uncovering another John?

No problem checking out trialists but I would like to see a more experienced ST to be alternative/cover for Stockley.
