Summer transfer rumours and speculation

The last name Noordanus has its origins in the Netherlands, specifically linked to the region of North Holland.

The name is derived from the Dutch words "noord," meaning "north," and "danus," which is a diminutive form that could imply "from Denmark" or "of Danish origin."

Looks real Sunday League standard to me

Does that mean he is going to be <ovf censored> though?

I am slightly concerned that we are having to look at trialists to fill key positions that are nowhere near league one standard. Where is the money from the record shirt sales and season ticket sales for player recruitment?

That is making the assumption we are only looking at trialists and it’s not just a case of casting our net as wide as possible. Last summer we had Kyle John and Diamond Edwards on trial for much of that time but it didn’t stop us conducting business elsewhere so I wouldn’t read a lot into that.

We look at trialists every season, this one is no different and it's clear that they would be ones for positions we need to strengthen because whats the point in a wing back trialist etc

If you think we have no money left then you are 100% mistaken,as well as having money for wages I still think that if the right player was available at the right price then we will pay a fee for them,so dunner panic

Case in point, we signed Diamond Edwards following a trial and he was shocking.

Conversely we signed Kyle John who was brilliant.

Not necessarily I would agree but the odds wouldn’t be good.

Going up even one step is difficult enough. Take McCauley Langstaff, record holding scorer in L1 and L2 but now out of favour at Millwall where it looks as if he can’t cut it. Just too much for him.

BTW, who wouldn’t want us to try and get him, perhaps on loan. I really hope we get another decent striker in because the lack of goals is what cost us last time in L1. C’mon, Vale, you know it makes sense.

Noordanus scored a decent number in the Lithuanian and Latvian top divisions before this last season.  They are probably on a par with the Welsh and Irish leagues(if European qualifiers are anything to go off they seem to play each other in the earlier rounds) which in turn are around our NL standard give or take. It's a bit like us taking a gamble on Paton really. Poor standard but you can pick up some gems

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but Tom Sang has gone to Shrewsbury

We will still be making a loss this coming season even with those extra tickets and shirt sales. Carol will still have to subsidise the club to keep us afloat. I still expect she will release some cash for the right player though.

Folk chat some tripe, don’t they?
