"Appearances" are very different to full 90 minutes played.

This is the 2nd half of the season:

He was in or around the team a bit like Ronan Curtis was at the vale, but not injured like people were saying 😁

Another one to fall down the MK Dons striker hole. Every good striker they sign becomes very average after they sign him. Except for Andy Cook Bradford have been somewhat similar for a few years, they rotate through strikers, making them worse in the process.

I went for the Tuesday night game in August 2023.

This place on the promenade is nice for a whiskey sour in the sun -

Walking to the ground though, <ovf censored> me. Mayfair to Tower Hamlets around one street corner. I was counting as I was going along, I'd put a bet on there being more settees outside of the front of peoples houses per square mile in Blackpool than the rest of the world combined. Grim.

I've been to that bar as well a few times. On a nice day it's a cracking place. The rest of the town on the other hand

Only one 90 mins? 🤔

clearly out of favour hence him moving on. Doesnt mean anything on tis own, for instance Chizzie hardly played a full 90 minutes all season for us even when fully fit but whoever gets him next is getting a decent player.

Brilliant news if Mitch has signed.
Injury prone and then some doubts about Gabriel potentially staying fit all season. Together they should be able to play the full amount of games. Two quality players for the RWB role. Possibly Gabriel could play RCB?

Either way, I hope Mitch has signed

I cannot see a world where Mitch Clark signs a contract to be second choice wing-back on either side - and in competition with John to be on the bench.

I think it’s more of a case of taking turns to play part games, eg Clark/Gabriel does the first hour, someone else finishes the game. There seems to be more of that with players who need to be high intensity for longer periods. Players don’t burn out long term (think Walsall) and a team is capable of sustaining a performance over 90 minutes.

In a world of injuries, rotation and maybe a 2yr deal (if rumours are to be believed)?

For me if we can somehow pull off signing Ihiekwe as well as Gabriel it will improve us massively defensively from last season and from when we were last in League One

Do you know how good he is defensively?

Imagine Gabriel is more Sang replacement than Clark, Gabriel is a RCB as well as a RB/RWB isn’t he so would make sense if so.

John, Gabriel and Clark are all good enough to play league 1. I really can't see Mitch playing second fiddle. A lot of clubs play a back 3 where one in essentially a fullback. Adds some pace to a backline which can be a problem with 3 more classical centrehalves and we have a big pitch. Moore used John, Hart and Sang in a back 3. Clark has played there when he was younger. Would also explain the release of Smith as we only need 4 out and out centrehalves as he'd only play 2 at any one time. Clark is also the closest we have to a player who is two footed, so could provide cover for Hall. Picking up a decent left centrehalf isn't that easy. If he is planning to play 3 more conventional centrehalves in his back 3 it sadly looks like Mitch is off, until he sign for us for the fifth time in a couple of seasons 🤔

100%, wing back in a high intensity game is gut busting. To have Clark, John, Headley and now Gabriel, we are well covered to play high intensity for 90 minutes.

Never been a fan of Mitch Clarke,s off the field shenanigans. However when fully fit and on the pitch he is championship level. Will be hard to improve on.

How is a right wing back an upgrade on a centre back?  I'd think it more likely he is either a replacement for clarke or a mahoosive upgrade on sang.

He’s described as a right back on the net. I can’t remember Debrah playing in the centre last season, RCB yes. Although I think you are right in that he has been brought in to replace Clarke
