    If you’re in the know in you’re in the know.  A popular player with fans but there being apparently no L1 suitors perhaps tells a story?  On paper at least Gabriel is an upgrade at RB/RWB  but Mitch’s ‘USP’ is he can play almost equally as well on the right or left so perhaps makes him more of a squad player rather than a first choice starter in either position in L1? His choice might be stay at Vale and not be guaranteed game time (if he stays fit), and stay in an environment he obviously enjoys, or be a first choice starter at a L2 club where he’s not as familiar with the culture. Will be glad if stays, his flexible positioning being an advantage, but equally it’s now not as much of an issue now we’ve signed a potentially better RB/RWB replacement.

    I went to Blackpool for work on Thursday. It makes Burslem look like the Garden of Eden. Truly depressing place.

    Similar to Byers and Wilson in which if they were fit all the time they would be playing championship

    Yet he played 37 games last season in all competitions,that's not an injury ravaged player never believe what you hear, they're probably bitter he's moved on 🤔😁

    I'm told that Mitch has been offered a 1yr extension with a further year depending on % of games played. He's holding/negotiating for a straight 2yr deal. 

    Why would any player, who's just worked his socks off to get promoted, want to stay in the division they got promoted out of by his own choice. Doesn't make sense...
