Rangers academy have just released there retained list. Cole McKinnon, Archie Stevens and Adam Devine all well thought of both shown the exit door. Could be potentially cheap punts with big upsides.

I have just seen that Adam Devine is a 6'3 RB 😮

Yeah I think they had high hopes for him but he hasn't quiet kicked on and they've just had a major take over so I think they're clearing the decks. Same with McKinnon. Stevens is capped at England youth levels and 6'1 but he's a winger so not sure where he'd fit for us.

Hmm, only L2 teams in for him with us, 1 in 18 at league one level with MK...

Only young so could improve i guess

I see Charlton have released Chuks Aneke,I really rated him a few years and thought he was a right handful but i think he has had a few injuries over the last few years

I think he's passed his prime now, great in his heyday though

My read of that is he is probably close to a deal with a L2 club but an agent leaking L1 interest might just bump up his deal a bit.

Highly likely!

Mitch Pinnock was decent...not sure how he is these days.

I am not sure either. He has only been there since January, I thought compensation only applied if the player had been in their academy.

It doesn't but the compensation is linked to the level of development the club has put into the player. In this case it will be negligible.

For me he'd be a good signing. He's the right age to kick on, mobile and big. Kadeem Harris also did well that day and by all accounts played a big part on the revival at Carlisle after Christmas.  He's played for Moore before. Knocking on a little (31) but can play on both wings, central midfield and both sides as a wingback. Some players who've played Championship level don't look up for it when they drop down a couple of levels. He looked a player who was still enjoying the game. Carlisle's form over the last third of the season was good enough to get them into the playoffs. Something went dreadfully wrong in the first two thirds as on paper they had some good players.

Callum Guy is a very good footballer.  Did his ACL in 23/24. Came back October November time and looked good. He then got a serious virus infection and his weight ballooned. Struggled with fitness for the rest of the season when he got back. With a good preseason he'd be a good signing for any league 2 side, provided he looks after himself over the summer and has a good preseason.

He scored 2 fantastic freekicks  away at Harrogate and Barrow in the cup - no doubting his technical ability. Played 745 minuted for us and just 465 for Dundee Utd, a loan that just didn't work out for him or the club.

I think he would be better suited to a role just behind a striker someone to play off who will create him the space to play in. If he can pick up the pace of thought at the higher level he could be a very good player.

I will love it if he comes in and smashes it up in pre season.Screenshot2025-05-30at13_32_51.png.dde61bc6f40470787326716e84f254e0.png

Time will tell. It is a worry he only scored one from open play all season.  He does look better suited to me as a 10 or maybe even in midfield.  Not sure Moore will see him as good enough to build a team around and change how we play. Hopefully he'll come back and do the business.
