I’d still make the call to them. You never know. We have done a bit of business with them during our last spell in L1 when they sold us Forrester and we did loan Liam McCarron off them (though frankly that one wasn’t a success) so it’s worth asking.

I thought i read it on the official site when the retained list came out?

Just looked again and it says length of contract yet to be confirmed,so i guess it could be anything really,i would hope they tell us at some point

I’m hoping there will be a handful of new signings and contract extensions (Kyle J, Jesse D & perhaps Ben G) announced tomorrow /over the weekend, all of them sporting the new kit.

With knowing JR he was so happy, just 4 years too late , re Slaven for a long move at Vale. but he still went for him. 

JR there maybe something online when he played golf with me on a lesson. Anyway the Stoke owners asked me to ask if he would manage them, when I did the same.  Wont say anymore. but owners of both clubs in our city are trying the best they can.

We would have no chance for start Stoke loaning us a player but from a football point of view….

Lowe is too small to play as a partner with Tolaj or on his own in a front 3. We need to keep playing Tolaj and develop him.

Personally feel we need a player with genuine pace up top to give us a different option which Lowe does not have. I think we also need Stockley  esq bigger man who can do the holdup play with more mobility. A player like Dalby at Wrexham or Sam Cosgrove at Barnsley although he didn’t have a particular good season last year.

On another note Stoke looking at loaning Nathan Lowe to L1. Might be a bit polarising but this could be the final twisting of the knife in Walsall if we did it…

I think we say this every year when the new kit comes out,will a new signing be wearing it as they uncover the kit and as far as i recall it hasn't happened once yet 🙂

We grabbed Forrester from stoke for a fee… Lowe would be a good signing, natural goal scoring instinct, when he has the service, going back into a bad stoke team, made his renaissance difficult. 
 

it could happen… really looking forward to the 1st signing coming out of the gate, will likely show how we see L1 this season

Defenders are different. Imagine signing a striker with a high % of a future transfer fee going to Stoke.

Maybe, but the net benefit to us would be higher on account of lower running costs a division lower.

I’m not against the transfer but don’t see it happening. A loan would certainly be interesting, though. Imagine a lot of their fans would have a tizzy if it happened. 

Would probably make sense for him to move permanently sooner or later, with Tezgel as well not getting much joy in a terrible side their development will only stagnate the longer they stay there.
